13.7.1956, handwritten letter from Enzo Ferrari to Comm. Francois Ferrario, Enzo Ferrari reports here on his mental state 13 days after the death of his son Dino. Enzo writes that he is still suffering from the consequences of the terrible drama, he is not well and is currently only staying in Maranello, but hopes that he will feel better when Francois returns from Switzerland. At the end of the letter, Enzo thanks Francois for his support and writes "my sadness will weigh on you this time too, because you know how much good you wanted for him (Dino)". Dino Ferrari died of kidney failure at the age of just 24 and had already suffered from muscle atrophy.
